Near the center of the village and the old cemetery, there are fragments of a three-nave basilica built in the nineteenth century (according to another version in the late Middle Ages), in which priest Bendeliani served.
The church was named after St. George and was associated with the Chikovani family.
Destroyed in the Soviet period.
