Koba Tsurtsumia was born on April 23, 1984 in the village of Letsurtsume, Chkhorotsku Municipality. In 2007, he began his military service under a contract.
Later Corporal Koba Tsurtsumia was a grenade launcher. He had passed the course of combat rescuers and the program of operations “11”
On August 9, he was fatally wounded while taking his wounded comrades out of Tskhinvali. He fought for the homeland on the front lines. He is buried in his native Letsurtsume.
