According to the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the access road to Tobavarchkhil Lake in Chkhorotsku Municipality is being rehabilitated.
The project envisages the regulation of the depreciated road to Tobavarchkhili Lake, the length of the road is about 10 km, and the width of the carriageway is 6.5 meters. Chkhorotsku Municipality City Hall and local MP Jumber Izoria applied to the fund with a request to start the works.
According to the decree of the Government of Georgia, the project will be implemented by the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure.
The project, which will be completed in 14 months, will help develop local tourism.
The cost of construction works is up to 13 million GEL. Of this, 4 million GEL will be spent on orientation this year
